By now you all know my love for fashion! Not only do I enjoy giving people advice via Twitter and Facebook for prom, senior pictures, wedding outfits and so on, I also love to design. In the past, I have helped to design a number of women’s items for Kyle Busch Motorsports. Working with Joe Gibbs Racing and Chase Authentics this summer I was given a huge opportunity to help design some unique pieces for Kyle’s women’s line.
I found a number of materials, fonts and screen-printing I liked and began sketching. I wanted to create more fashion forward pieces that had figure flattering cuts. I envisioned shirts that women could feel confident and sexy in to wear to the races or out to friends house to watch the race! Longer hemlines, faux double layering and contrast stitching were all elements I wanted to combine with simple designs and a more feminine color palette.
I teamed up with the wonderful people at Chase Authentics to create three awesome new pieces for Kyle’s women collection. Their team consisted of such awesome and creative people, it was an honor to get to work with them.
