This guacamole recipe has been a staple in our house for quite a long time. It all started when Kyle and I were in Cabo at a restaurant and the guac that we ordered came with peppers in it! It adds such a great crunch to the guac that we already like really chunky and spicy to begin with! It’s such an easy recipe, and I bet you already have more than half of the ingredients in your kitchen to make tonight!

What you’ll need:

4 avocados

1 cup diced roma tomatoes

1/2 cup yellow onions

1/2 cup diced peppers

1 diced jalapeño

Cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

Lime zest

Serrano pepper flakes

Garlic powder

Salt and pepper

How to make:

1. Mash 4 avocados in a big bowl- make sure to leave chunky.

2. Add roma tomatoes, peppers, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.

3. Zest 1 lime and then add zest and juice of lime to bowl.

4. Add Serrano flakes, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.

5. Mix well

This guac is seriously amazing. Its chunky texture and spice are our favorite parts. We love to serve with chips, but you can also serve it as a side to quesadillas, on tacos, in a burrito – you name it, it’s perfect for!

Next time we make it mama is going to pair it with a spicy margarita!
