I am so excited Charlotte North Carolina Fashion Week 2011 begins tomorrow!! I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful designers and I cannot wait to see all of their gorgeous collections. I wanted to do a little write up on one designer in particular, Tsvety McAuliffe, who has made three stunning dresses for me! (Sneak Peak in Photos Below) Her talent is beyond amazing.
Tsvety began her formal career in Europe by enrolling in the Fashion and Textile department of New Bulgarian University, where she later graduated with honors. Tsvety gathered experience in the textile design aspect of her career by joining the team if the Italian designer Roberto Badji. In the several years she worked for him she hand painted silk for famous European runway shows. In 2004, Tsvety’s love for travel and her free spirit brought her to Charlotte, NC where she established her family. Here Tsvety took interest in learning new techniques in the garment printing industry and she intensely studied the DTG printing process. This led her to open the TZ’s Digital Design, LLC that has been serving the Charlotte area for over two years now. She designs custom T-shirts for all of her clients and works with several businesses throughout the area.
She is a unique designer that uses gorgeous fabrics and really understands how to create figure-flattering outfits for women. I wanted to show you a sneak peak of two designs she created for me for Fashion Week. The long dress that I wear on Friday is amazing; she met me once and instantly knew my style! She also created the gorgeous maroon mini I wore to Fashion’s Night Out! The fabric was amazing, stretchy suede like feeling with a tone on tone snakeskin print, how hot!
